Welsh eccentrics We Are Animal are back with a new single, ‘Luminous Lights’.
They will be looking to build on the successes of their wonderful debut from last year, Idolise. Once again they’ve conjured up something rather exciting and curious; guttural melodies mixed with jolts of guitars, fast riffs and heavy bass lines perturbing to a rock n roll freak out. There are obvious hints of the Super Furry Animals at play, most likely due to a noticeably Welsh brogue but there’s nothing wrong with that now is there?
‘Work’ has appeared on the bands soundcloud too, one can only assume it will accompany ‘Luminous Lights’ as a b-side.
‘Luminous Lights’ is released on June 5th.
