The Sundowners are very much part of a new stream of talent emerging from the banks of the Mersey, an area which has a habit of giving birth to great bands.
The Wirral 5-piece are readying the release of their debut single ‘Hummingbird’, produced by James & Ian Skelly from The Coral no less. ’Hummingbird’ has a real natural charm; it is bright, dreamy pop with gorgeous melodies, harmonies and sweetly honed vocals. The Sundowners graced us with some gorgeous demos earlier in the year but is fantastic to hear of a first proper release, with ‘Hummingbird’ arriving on December 3rd.
