Limerick producer Ronan Carroll aka Tenaka has just released his second EP, the stunning 7-track, EPhemeral.
The EP is a collaborative affair featuring Sacred Animals, Holy Roman Army, Sorcha Brennan, Daithi and Elaine Mai and was produced by Ian Maleney. It is a brooding blend of chillout electronica mixing deep and dreamy atmospherics with subtle, crisp and shuffled beats, not to mention the equally atmospheric vocals. It is quite different to most of what I’m listening to but it is no less absorbing. You can download the whole thing for ‘name your price’ over at Tenaka’s bandcamp.
Tenaka plays Dublin’s Shebeen Chic this Friday 16th September (free entry) and HWCH 2011 on October 7th.
